- Let's talk about Disneyland Paris! In Ear Scouts LodgeSeptember 1, 2025Hi Rob, Just watched your Disneyland Paris video again and it is so helpful! I was wondering, what month you were there? The crowds looked manageable and weather also looked cool. With the Premier Access pass would you say one day for each park would work and would you recommend it? We are currently planning a trip for late July, 2026 but would love to avoid the crowds. We are going to Bavaria afterwards so would appreciate any tips from you or your Scouts. Thanks! Diana12
- ROLL CALL - When is your NEXT Disney Trip?In Welcome to Ear Scouts·July 29, 2025Hey everyone - been a while since we have just done a quick check in here on when is everyone's next trip and what is the biggest question you have that you would love Ear Scouts to help answer? Our next Trip isn't until September and I am really excited about the new night time parade - but also worried about not getting the best location for pictures. Thinking happy thoughts in NYC today!2230
- Fantasmic Dining Package - which restaurant? In Disney World DiscussionJuly 28, 2025Hey Ellen - great question - I will say that we have ALWAYS done Brown Derby as our Fantasmic meal - mainly because we felt it was worth the money and we would have eaten the courses anyway. Brown Derby is consistent and is typically a nice break from the hectic day at the parks. If your son is an adventurous eater this is a great choice. H&V will most likely be Christmas characters when you are going so if that is something you are interested in getting pictures of - unique holiday costumes. Then that might make a difference for you. I personally would only go to H&V during special times of the year to get these unique costumes - otherwise it is just a buffet. A Disney buffet is better than just about any buffet - but still a buffet. Hope this helps - Jess21

- Rope Dropping Guardians from International Gateway? In Disney World DiscussionJune 11, 2025I completely get your perspective, I always want to ride our favorites more than once per day! I think to have a very low wait you would need to be going in the front entrance, as people coming in there will obviously have an advantage over you. That said, you could certainly still get a lower wait coming in from the back then you would generally during the day.11

- Early Morning Dining ReservationIn Disney World DiscussionMay 31, 2025The buses will most likely start earlier than that. My best guess is the first bus will depart at 7 or 7:15am (based on having been on an MK bus that early 3 times, those with more experience please chime in as to whether this is normal), and I think you should have no problem getting to your dining reservation on time. If you don't want to take any chances, then I'd book a Minnie Van. An ordinary Lyft or Uber won't get you to the front gates of Magic Kingdom, and instead will drop you at the transportation and ticket center (TTC) and you'd have to take the monorail or ferry from there.11

- Thoughts on the new Lightning Lane Multi PassIn Lightning Lane Forum·September 18, 2024Heigh-ho, everybody! We're about to make our biggest video yet about Lightning Lane Multi Pass and I wanted to know what your thoughts are about this new system and share some of mine, as well. Have you used it yet? If so, what did you think? If not, what are you excited about and what are you less-than-excited about? For me, these are the big takeaways: • It has been relatively easy to book whatever I want on the day of my visit, even though lots of things look like they have few or no times left when I make my initial selections – but I am a party of one or two and it may be different for parties of 5 or more as it was with Genie • Even though you can pre-book, it definitely does not cut down on the time you spend looking at your phone and managing the system. In some cases, I think it can lead to spending even more time on your phone because you are now babysitting three queues instead of just one • This system gives a HUGE advantage to early risers and especially park hoppers who start their day at Animal Kingdom since you can typically start booking for all the parks an hour before everyone else Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!219906
