- Welcome to the Lodge! In Ear Scouts Lodge·October 24, 2023It's like a neverending unbirthday party in here, though we're happy to celebrate actual birthdays, too. While the other forums have pretty specific purposes, this one is a bit more fun and fancy free. That said, please remember to be polite and respectful toward your fellow scouts. We want this to be a place where everyone feels comfortable chatting and meeting new friends from around the world who also share our love for Disney Parks.11082
- Is there any point to Multipass at Epcot with early entry? In Lightning Lane Forum·August 21, 2024It seems to me that the only really useful Mutlipass lightning lanes at Epcot are Remy and Frozen. If you are doing early entry at Epcot and entering via the international gateway, you should be able to do both those attractions before the park opens (based on the Ear Scouts video). The rest of the Multipass lightning lanes seem to have fairly short queues every time I check the app. So is there any reason to purchase Multipass? Am I missing something?110186
- Ride my favorites twiceIn Lightning Lane Forum·March 7, 2025After watching hours of videos on Lightning lane I think I found a strategy. I will be at Pop Century , so I think I will do early entry at my 3 favorite attractions in each park and reserve them later with LL , so I can do them twice!! Toughts ?1790
- Lyft to International GatewayIn Disney World DiscussionMay 2, 2024Beach Club is a little closer to International Gateway, but yes! One of my favorite tricks is to Uber to one of the Epcot resorts and use the back entrance. The new ride share drop at Epcot is quite a hike! And if I can have breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno before heading to the park, all the better!27
- AP, Parkhopping, Genie+, and Tiana: Help!In Disney Genie Forum·June 12, 2024Hello everyone! I am throwing myself into a tizzy prepping for my upcoming trip, and am hoping someone might be able to give some advice and feedback. I have a trip planned at the end of June with a few friends; because of other trips later this year, it made the most sense for me to get an Annual Pass (first time in over a decade!) while my friends have regular tickets. Because of this, I'm subject to the park reservation system while my friends are not. We are planning 2 parks per day over 2 days (marathon, but we're ready for it!) This was all thrown for a loop with Tiana's opening date announcement, as we planned for our first day to be AK/MK on 6/29. (We are staying at AKL, so we really hoped to keep things as they are in terms of park order.) We initially planned that we would make a Genie+ reservation for Tiana at 7am and play the slots as needed until we got a return time for sometime when we intend to be in MK (we don't think we'll make the 1pm VQ drop as AK is a priority) and just accept that we won't be able to make any LLs in AK until 2hrs after park open, but the fact that I have an Annual Pass is making things much more complicated than we originally thought. If we hope to score a Tiana LL for say, 3pm, does that mean I have to have a park reservation for MK so that I will be able to do so at 7am? If we successfully get a Tiana LL for later that afternoon, can I change my park reservation right after to AK so that we can actually go to AK that morning, without losing my Tiana LL? And then there's the fact that the 29th is a Saturday - I don't THINK we'll encounter the whole AP park hopping into MK on the weekends caveat, but to be honest, I have a hard time understanding it. Our plans were picture perfect until this announcement, and I just don't know what to do! I know Disney's decision to open Tiana on a VQ/LL system (rather than ILL) is a first, so I know knowledge is scarce when it comes to this ride, but as a novice AP holder I have no idea how to navigate this change in plans. I appreciate the help!2774
- What are your pre-vacation rituals? In Ear Scouts LodgeMarch 8, 2024Picking ears is definitely part of my ritual - even if I'm just popping out to Disney Springs! There are some days where the ears practically pick themselves (Moana ears to the opening of Journey of Water, obviously) and then most days I have 4-5 final candidates and I endlessly try them on with my outifit until I settle on a winner. If I'm making a video, I might scan the thumbnails on YouTube to see the last time I wore the ears in question. 😂34

- New Member Thread - Come Say Heigh-Ho!In Welcome to Ear ScoutsOctober 26, 2023Heigh-Ho, Everyone! I'm Madison from Houston, TX and while I'm fairly new to experiencing Disney World I'm loving getting into all the details and various things to do in the parks and resours to Ear Scouts had been super helpful in that regard! I never experienced any of the Disney parks as a kid and went on a Family trip to Disneyland a few years ago when i was well into my 20's but I absolutely loved it - which suprised me because I grew up with season passes to Astroworld and really thought I didn't like theme parks at all! When I saw the Imagineering Story in 2020 I realized what it was that I loved about the parks - it's the attention to detail and the immersive experience! I did a trip with my dad to Disney World in late 2020 right after the park reopening and even though the dining and other experiences were limited it was amazing to experience it for the first time with limited crowds. I went back earlier this year for a quick bday trip for myself and i've decided to become a passholder for just a year since i have a lot of airline points to use and love the idea of taking smaller but more frequent trips... there is so much to see! I'm currently planning a big adults only family trip with my parents and siblings coming up in the next week so I've been planning like crazy and the information from Ear Scouts has been super helpful! I'm looking forward to having planning support and being able to help others in this forum! Disney Adults truly are the most friendly :) Any other non-florida resident passholders out there? Any tips or tricks you recommend to make the most of it?41
