- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane Forum·December 11, 2024Heigh Ho Community! I am looking for a suggestion on LL at Hollywood Studios on 12-18. I booked my 3 LLs based on Family Preferences of Attractions. We have an... 11:15 Tower of Terror. This is my Wifes favorite and while I may try to get a better time by playing those Genie slots in the coming days/morning of. I REALLY would be playing Russian Roulette messing with this one lol. 1;25 Toy Story Mania. This is everyone's Second or Third Fave on the Tier 2 Level. So I grabbed it. 3:00 Slinky Dog. I have watched our dear host enough to keep this one locked unless by the Magic of the Slots moving this one up. My question is should I keep the 1:25 Toy Story or get a Burner Ride just to do early to unlock more attractions. Like a Star Tours or Muppet 3D. To add some more color. I have a daughter with Autism who has the DAS. The LLs are for the rest of the party who couldn't be placed on it. Also in the past she has hit her burnout of the Park by 4:00PM ish. she is 3 years older than when we last left so that may be better or worse. Thats a whole lot of exposition to simply ask, should I sub out Toy Story Mania and get an earlier Burner ride to unlock more attractions earlier. Any advice or opinion would be appreciated.11897
- Table Service recs!In Disney World Discussion·October 26, 2023My husband & I are taking our 1st "No kids" trip in February. I've actually never been to Disney with no kids! Even before I had my own kids, our family trips always included a neice/nephew or 2. We want to do a couple table service meals, but having a hard time narrowing down choices. What is everyone's favorite?? Our main focus is just good food! Doesn't need to be a character meal or anything fancy. Just yummy food. We've done Raglan Road & Steakhouse 71 and really enjoyed both of those. I started making a list of places, but now that list is way too long. We're more into snacking than eating big meals, so trying to pick just 1 or 2 places out of all the good options is HARD lol!11882

- Latest Updates on Lightning Lane Multi PassIn Lightning Lane Forum·July 19, 2024Heigh-ho, everybody! We are less than a week away from the rollout of the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass service that is replacing Disney Genie Plus and we wanted to share with you a quick overview of the latest info we have gotten from Cast Members and travel professionals. You can find the full video of our latest Live Q&A Session over on our Patreon community. If you don't yet know the basics of this new system, we'd recommend checking out this video on our YouTube channel. • Most Cast Members have said there will be no pre-booking before 7:00 AM on July 24. One Cast Member said they heard that guests who are in a stay that begins before July 24 would have a small early window to pre-book, but all other Cast Members we have spoken to said this was incorrect. • Pre-booked attractions must all be in the same park, but it does not need to be the park where you will start your day. If you have a ticket that requires park pass reservations (like an Annual Pass), you do not need to pre-book in the park where your park pass is – it can be for another park as long as you are able to park hop. • While you are limited to one Tier One and two Tier Two attractions that are all in the same park when pre-booking, these limitations are removed once you physically tap in at your first Lightning Lane of the day. You cannot simply cancel it, modify it or let it expire – you must physically enter the park and tap in at the attraction to unlock the park and tier limitations. • Once you have "unlocked" by tapping in, you are free to modify your existing Lightning Lanes to other attractions and you are no longer limited by tier or park. Even tapping in at one of your Tier Two attractions will work to "unlock" your ability to book. • You will be able to have three Multi Pass Lightning Lanes at all times and the only way you may book another is to use one of these Lightning Lanes or cancel/modify it. There is no "2-hour rule." • One Cast Member said that pre-booked Lightning Lanes may not have overlapping return windows, but that on the day of your visit, you will be free to overlap times. Other Cast Members have said they don't think there will be restrictions on overlapping times at all (even for pre-booking). • Multiple Cast Members have described the booking and modifying process for Multi Pass Lightning Lanes as being like the current Individual Attraction Lightning Lane system. You will see ALL available times and will be free to select the time that works best for your plans (assuming you tap in quick enough to grab it). • Even though it won't be like Genie where you refresh for the best available time, it does seem that refreshing and "playing the slots" will still be a big part of the process – especially when looking for harder-to-book attractions. These times will be volatile like with Genie Plus. The only difference is that now, when there are multiple times available, you will be able to choose which one you want. Just be quick. 🐇😂 We will be trying the new system on July 24 and will try to get a video up with a step-by-step, screen-by-screen process of how the system works as quickly as possible. I hope these early details will be helpful for those of you who will also be trying out the new system on July 24. Wish us all luck - and keep thinking happy thoughts, everybody!48600

- Lyft to International GatewayIn Disney World Discussion·May 2, 2024Hello! We are staying on property at Universal Studios, but I found a day I could go check out the flower and garden festival at Epcot, is it true I can take a Lyft or Uber to Boardwalk and walk to the international gateway? Or is it easier to just take a ride share to the front entrance? I love the ear scouts community! Thank you in advance for the advice!115113
- We did it! Thanks to you all!!In Disney Genie Forum·June 6, 2024I feel compelled to write a note of sincere gratitude to Rob and everyone on the forum! The videos, questions and responses were invaluable. We didn't have a long time to plan for our trip so I crammed my learning into about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. We stayed 6 days, 7 nights. The guidance on Genie + and Individual Lightening Lanes was so helpful. I was anxious about it but watching the videos and reading the comments really set us up for success. A family of four, we wound up investing an additional $700 in Genie + and ILL - it's a lot of money (on top of a lot of money for the trip) but it was worth it. The longest time we spent waiting on line was about 30 minutes or less. We had the joy of experiencing 48 rides and attractions in the 4 parks over 5.5 days (we took one day and spent most of it at the hotel and then popped over to Disney Springs for a bit). It was a trip of a lifetime! We're hoping to go again in about 5 years. I'm sure it will be very different from now and I look forward to experiencing the magic all over again! Happy Travels!!5447

- HUGE Shout Out to the Ear Scouts Team!In Disney Genie Forum·December 10, 2023I just wanted to say thanks to Rob for helping to make our recent Disney trip so enjoyable! Without his videos, we would have been lost, hot, and miserable. Instead, we got to ride everything we wanted to! He made Genie+ seem manageable....and it was. Interestingly, the crowd calendars seemed to indicate our dates (Nov. 30 to Dec. 3) were going to be very slow. If it actually was slow, I'd hate to see busy, because the parks sure seemed PACKED. Some highlights for us included playing the Genie slots to get Ratatouille for 2:30 in the afternoon AFTER the return entries were already done for the day. Similar result for Slinky Dog Dash, although I hesitated on that one and missed it. We had a general plan, based on the videos, and they worked like a charm. Thanks, Rob!!5380
- Let's talk about Disneyland Paris! In Ear Scouts Lodge·November 8, 2023We're so glad that we were finally able to get our Disneyland Paris video up. There was SO MUCH footage to sift through, plus the fact that we didn't have much of any narration filmed meant that this one was a beast to piece back together into something folks would enjoy watching. 😂 I'm really happy with how it turned out. It also made me really excited to start thinking about going back. We're happy to share what we learned here from our first visit, so please post any questions you may have. And for those of you who are Disneyland Paris pros, let us know your best tips for making the most of a visit to the most beautiful Disney Park in the world.211122
