- We're working on a new series of Disney World 101 videos – what topics should we cover? In Disney World DiscussionFebruary 13, 2025I almost hate to say this because it is so much work - but FOOD is a big question I get from people - a guide to picky eaters - I have had 2 -3 friends who want to go but have children that do not eat a lot of different things and they were really interested in where to eat that made sense. Also the whole disney dining plan thing - I know NOTHING about it but I get asked by people a lot of is it worth it...11
- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionFebruary 3, 2025@Craig Culp here's my promised update: The trip went amazingly well! We did everything we wanted to do, and were able to do our favourites multiple times (including Star Tours 5 times!). I found I was able to be much less rigid with scheduling because of the unofficial lightning lane 2-hour leeway. So we took our time at dining reservations. Even then, Tusker House, Sebastian's, and Rodeo Roundup only took about an hour. We spent almost 2 hours at Biergarten, much of that on the dance floor, and about an hour and a half at Space 220 Lounge. I highly recommend Biergarten and Space 220 for the ambience. The food was fine everywhere, but the only really great food we had was at Space 220. I was shocked by how much we were able to do by using good lightning lane strategies and optimized scheduling. I didn't even have to spend much time on my phone. I might go into more detail on this in a separate post.2
- LL strategy with not-too-early entryIn Lightning Lane ForumFebruary 4, 2025Yeah the real trick is figuring out when they release new lightning lanes. I did it by inspecting the graphs on thrill-data.com. I then set alarms on my phone for when to book. It worked every time, and I only needed to spend a few seconds on my phone.1
- Does Disney Transportation operate Post After Hours at the Parks? In Disney World Discussion·February 1, 2025Hello, We are doing MK After Hours staying at Pop Century, wondering if any of the Resort Transport will be available when the After Hours end around 1am. Checked Reddit but couldn’t get a straight answer. TIA!1231
- We're working on a new series of Disney World 101 videos – what topics should we cover? In Disney World Discussion·January 23, 2025Heigh-ho everybody! Our big focus in 2025 will be to build out our guides to getting the most out of a trip to Walt Disney World. We are almost finished with our new Lightning Lane Guides to all the parks and these are the next videos we are planning to work on: • Disney Dining Plan Guide for 2025 • Getting the Most Out of the My Disney Experience App • Ultimate Guide to Using Disney Transportation • Disney Resort Guides (Deluxe Resort Showdown, DVC Resort Showdown, Guide to Picking Your Resort) • Updated MagicBand Guide What other videos would you like to see in this series? Thanks for your help!111250
- We're working on a new series of Disney World 101 videos – what topics should we cover? In Disney World DiscussionJanuary 24, 2025They all sound like great ideas. I don't know how this would work, but something that would be useful for people who aren't regulars would be which route to take to get to the key locations in the parks. Obviously I know you can look at the map, but sometimes translating that to what's actually in front of you isn't as easy as it sounds. I can recall a couple of times we were at the front of early entry, ready to head to Rise of the Resistance or Flight of Passage having not been to the parks for over 10 years suddenly panicking because I didn't actually know which direction to go in!22
- Managing lightening lanes for a groupIn Lightning Lane Forum·January 22, 2025When modifying lightening lanes, can I modify a ride time for my entire group at the same time (assuming all parties are linked in the my Disney experience app)?? Or do I have to modify each person’s ride time individually?1255
- Premier Pass now for All GuestsIn Lightning Lane Forum·January 22, 2025Have just been reading that Lightning Lane Premier Pass is now available for all guests regardless of whether they're staying at a Disney resort or not. https://www.wdwmagic.com/other/disney-genie/news/21jan2025-how-to-buy-disneys-lightning-lane-premier-pass-now-available-to-everyone.htm The prices are still eye watering, but seems like its now very similar to Express Pass at Universal. I wouldn't pay for it personally, however I could see if people were coming for a once in a lifetime trip that they might. It's also surprising that you can't Park Hop with it. Would anyone be tempted to purchase it?1149
- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionJanuary 20, 2025Tusker house is characters - so you may be there over 90 min to SEE all the characters - could you make it faster maybe - but in general we have never done less than an hour on any sit down place. Biergarten with no characters you are in control - so that might be the win for you!13
- Multi Pass + Park Hop Strategy (AK, EP, DHS)In Lightning Lane ForumJanuary 21, 2025You have to tap in to unlock. Letting it expire won't unlock you1
- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionJanuary 20, 2025I've been able to shift my plans around to allow for 90 minutes at all my ADRs. The one exception is our reservation for Space 220 Lounge which allows for 75 minutes max if we decide we want to catch the 6:45pm On Broadway concert. Do the characters keep you captive though? Couldn't you just leave when you want? (I don't think it will matter to my kids if we don't see all the characters)1
- Accompanying a child in a Lightning LaneIn Lightning Lane ForumJanuary 18, 2025Thanks for finding that. Yes it does answer my question. I couldn't find anything this definitive when I searched.1
