- Creative Rope Dropping.....In Disney World DiscussionFebruary 13, 2025Flack? I don’t remember any flack. 😂 I love that idea! Especially because I LOVE it’s a small world as well! (There are so few of us it seems lol). I’m always trying to zag when everyone else is zigging. I’ll do Tower of Terror and Everest while everyone else is going for the bigger rides.11
- We're working on a new series of Disney World 101 videos – what topics should we cover? In Disney World DiscussionFebruary 13, 2025I almost hate to say this because it is so much work - but FOOD is a big question I get from people - a guide to picky eaters - I have had 2 -3 friends who want to go but have children that do not eat a lot of different things and they were really interested in where to eat that made sense. Also the whole disney dining plan thing - I know NOTHING about it but I get asked by people a lot of is it worth it...11

- Need help planning your Disney World trip?In Disney World Discussion·October 24, 2023This forum is dedicated to EVERYTHING at Walt Disney World (except the Genie – he's got his own forum next door). Whether you want to chat about your most recent adventure or ask for advice as you prepare for your first ever trip to the parks, this section is dedicated to all things Disney World. Note that as the forum gets busier, we will likely start creating new categories like the one for Genie Plus and move all relevant threads to the new areas so that it is easier to find the right info, but post away about everything from dining to resorts to park planning right here.521432

- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionFebruary 3, 2025@Craig Culp here's my promised update: The trip went amazingly well! We did everything we wanted to do, and were able to do our favourites multiple times (including Star Tours 5 times!). I found I was able to be much less rigid with scheduling because of the unofficial lightning lane 2-hour leeway. So we took our time at dining reservations. Even then, Tusker House, Sebastian's, and Rodeo Roundup only took about an hour. We spent almost 2 hours at Biergarten, much of that on the dance floor, and about an hour and a half at Space 220 Lounge. I highly recommend Biergarten and Space 220 for the ambience. The food was fine everywhere, but the only really great food we had was at Space 220. I was shocked by how much we were able to do by using good lightning lane strategies and optimized scheduling. I didn't even have to spend much time on my phone. I might go into more detail on this in a separate post.2
- LL strategy with not-too-early entryIn Lightning Lane ForumFebruary 4, 2025Yeah the real trick is figuring out when they release new lightning lanes. I did it by inspecting the graphs on thrill-data.com. I then set alarms on my phone for when to book. It worked every time, and I only needed to spend a few seconds on my phone.1
- Does Disney Transportation operate Post After Hours at the Parks? In Disney World Discussion·February 1, 2025Hello, We are doing MK After Hours staying at Pop Century, wondering if any of the Resort Transport will be available when the After Hours end around 1am. Checked Reddit but couldn’t get a straight answer. TIA!1231
- Thoughts on the new Lightning Lane Multi PassIn Lightning Lane Forum·September 18, 2024Heigh-ho, everybody! We're about to make our biggest video yet about Lightning Lane Multi Pass and I wanted to know what your thoughts are about this new system and share some of mine, as well. Have you used it yet? If so, what did you think? If not, what are you excited about and what are you less-than-excited about? For me, these are the big takeaways: • It has been relatively easy to book whatever I want on the day of my visit, even though lots of things look like they have few or no times left when I make my initial selections – but I am a party of one or two and it may be different for parties of 5 or more as it was with Genie • Even though you can pre-book, it definitely does not cut down on the time you spend looking at your phone and managing the system. In some cases, I think it can lead to spending even more time on your phone because you are now babysitting three queues instead of just one • This system gives a HUGE advantage to early risers and especially park hoppers who start their day at Animal Kingdom since you can typically start booking for all the parks an hour before everyone else Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!219825
- Favorite Rope Drop Park and StrategyIn Disney World Discussion·October 27, 2023I would like to know what your best experience has been with rope dropping and what strategy worked best for you. We rope drop every opportunity we can. We have had the experience of being the first ones at the park at AK and amongst the first 10 at Magic Kingdom. However our most surprising and enjoyable rope drop was at Hollywood studios. We went against the crowd and rope dropped Tower of Terror (first in line). In the rope drop period (they started us early, we were able to do Tower of Terror, Rocking Roller coaster twice and got to Mickey and Minnie's railroad ride before the official park open. We had our first Genie plus for Slinky Dog Dash at 9:30 and our ILL for Rise at 10:15. It was an awesome morning !314303
