Heigh-ho, everyone. I'm sad to share the news that Wix is discontinuing their forum, which is what powers our forum here on Ear Scouts. As a result, this forum will shut down soon and we are so sad to see it go. The good news is that as one door closes, another opens. Here are a handful of the new features: Better organization, powerful search and more categories Find exactly what you are looking for and post things where people can easily find it with more categories and sub-categories. We really love our live jamborees over on Patreon and I was thinking it would be fun to have a scheduled time for all of us to come hang out together here in the forum every now and again. Would you be interested in joining us for a live chat session? If so, what time(s) are best for you? Weekend days? Weekday afternoons? Let us know and we'll schedule something soon!

Heigh-ho, everybody! We're about to make our biggest video yet about Lightning Lane Multi Pass and I wanted to know what your thoughts are about this new system and share some of mine, as well. Have you used it yet? If so, what did you think? If not, what are you excited about and what are you less-than-excited about? For me, these are the big takeaways: • It has been relatively easy to book whatever I want on the day of my visit, even though lots of things look like they have few or no times left when I make my initial selections – but I am a party of one or two and it may be different for parties of 5 or more as it was with Genie • Even though you can pre-book, it definitely does not cut down on the time you spend looking at your phone and managing the system. In some cases, I think it can lead to spending even more time on your phone because you are now babysitting three queues instead of just one • This system gives a HUGE advantage to early risers and especially park hoppers who start their day at Animal Kingdom since you can typically start booking for all the parks an hour before everyone else Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Heigh-ho, everybody! We are less than a week away from the rollout of the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass service that is replacing Disney Genie Plus and we wanted to share with you a quick overview of the latest info we have gotten from Cast Members and travel professionals. You can find the full video of our latest Live Q&A Session over on our Patreon community. If you don't yet know the basics of this new system, we'd recommend checking out this video on our YouTube channel. • Most Cast Members have said there will be no pre-booking before 7:00 AM on July 24. One Cast Member said they heard that guests who are in a stay that begins before July 24 would have a small early window to pre-book, but all other Cast Members we have spoken to said this was incorrect. • Pre-booked attractions must all be in the same park, but it does not need to be the park where you will start your day. If you have a ticket that requires park pass reservations (like an Annual Pass), you do not need to pre-book in the park where your park pass is – it can be for another park as long as you are able to park hop. • While you are limited to one Tier One and two Tier Two attractions that are all in the same park when pre-booking, these limitations are removed once you physically tap in at your first Lightning Lane of the day. You cannot simply cancel it, modify it or let it expire – you must physically enter the park and tap in at the attraction to unlock the park and tier limitations. • Once you have "unlocked" by tapping in, you are free to modify your existing Lightning Lanes to other attractions and you are no longer limited by tier or park. Even tapping in at one of your Tier Two attractions will work to "unlock" your ability to book. • You will be able to have three Multi Pass Lightning Lanes at all times and the only way you may book another is to use one of these Lightning Lanes or cancel/modify it. There is no "2-hour rule." • One Cast Member said that pre-booked Lightning Lanes may not have overlapping return windows, but that on the day of your visit, you will be free to overlap times. Other Cast Members have said they don't think there will be restrictions on overlapping times at all (even for pre-booking). • Multiple Cast Members have described the booking and modifying process for Multi Pass Lightning Lanes as being like the current Individual Attraction Lightning Lane system. You will see ALL available times and will be free to select the time that works best for your plans (assuming you tap in quick enough to grab it). • Even though it won't be like Genie where you refresh for the best available time, it does seem that refreshing and "playing the slots" will still be a big part of the process – especially when looking for harder-to-book attractions. These times will be volatile like with Genie Plus. The only difference is that now, when there are multiple times available, you will be able to choose which one you want. Just be quick. 🐇😂 We will be trying the new system on July 24 and will try to get a video up with a step-by-step, screen-by-screen process of how the system works as quickly as possible. I hope these early details will be helpful for those of you who will also be trying out the new system on July 24. Wish us all luck - and keep thinking happy thoughts, everybody!

We finally have some details about Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening at Magic Kingdom, and we're guessing you might have questions. Here are the answers we know so far: Q: When can we ride it?! A: Annual Passholder previews are June 13-18 & June 20. Disney Vacation Club preview are June 12 & 19. Opening day for everyone is June 28. D23 Gold Members will be able to ride at a special ticketed event and we will update this post when we have those details. Cast Members will also likely be able to book previews soon. Q: How do we ride it? A: Once the attraction officially opens, it will be included as part of Genie Plus and will apparently use a Virtual Queue for a limited time. This is an unusual combination and it seems that the Virtual Queue component will not last as long as it usually does with other new attractions. Annual Passholder Previews will use the Virtual Queue system. You can book Virtual Boarding Groups for Tiana's Bayou Adventure and either TRON or Guardians on the same day for Passholder Previews. There are two chances for Virtual Boarding Groups - 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM. DVC members will have to register beginning May 16 and must have a qualifying resort stay using their membership, as well as park admission to Magic Kingdom for all qualifying guests who wish to ride. Q: Can I ride multiple times in a day? A: This is unclear. It seems that maybe you can book using Genie Plus AND get a Virtual Boarding Group? We'll update when we know more.

Congratulations to the Cast Members at Victoria and Albert's – this is a really huge honor! We haven't eaten there yet (it's kinda crazy expensive 😜), but we really want to try it someday. Have you eaten there yet? If so, let us know what you thought.

Heigh-ho everybody! Just wanted to give you all an update on what we've been up to. We escaped the Presidents Day craziness at Disney World to come visit my hometown of Charleston, SC for the week. Luckily, the microwave in our Airbnb kept us from feeling homesick about our new home at WDW. 😂 We've got some fun new videos on the way real soon! We should be filming in the parks again this weekend and then it will be time for Flower & Garden! But until then, I'm going to keep thinking happy thoughts and enjoy some time with my family and friends. See you all soon!

We're so glad that we were finally able to get our Disneyland Paris video up. There was SO MUCH footage to sift through, plus the fact that we didn't have much of any narration filmed meant that this one was a beast to piece back together into something folks would enjoy watching. 😂 I'm really happy with how it turned out. It also made me really excited to start thinking about going back. We're happy to share what we learned here from our first visit, so please post any questions you may have. And for those of you who are Disneyland Paris pros, let us know your best tips for making the most of a visit to the most beautiful Disney Park in the world.
