Hi Diana! We were there at the end of August into early September. The crowds weren’t bad at all. As for whether you can enjoy both parks in two days, I think it depends on how thoroughly you want to do everything. While Studios was easy for us to do in a day, especially with Premier Access, the main park is a lot harder because of its size and the number of attractions that didn’t use Premier Access. It’s also a park you want to explore and linger in certain areas because it’s so beautifully themed. Can you do both in two days? Yes, but I would say 3 is ideal. You’ll have a great trip either way!

Hi Hunter! As long as you are linked in My Disney Experience and you both have valid tickets on the same day, you can both purchase and manage Multi Pass for each other. When you buy, the other person will show up in the list of who you want to include in your purchase and it will book the initial selections for both of you.

Sorry I missed this question when you asked and I'm guessing you no longer are looking for answers since you are here now, but I just thought I'd add that I haven't used this service. I have thought about trying it out for a video and they have invited me to do so a few times, but I really enjoy booking my own LLs. 😅

Hi Diane! You are always able to park at a resort when you have a dining reservation for within the hour that you wish to park (note that it has to be a table service dining reservation, not a mobile food order at a quick service spot). Technically you have three hours to park there, though I have only ever seen that time limit enforced at Grand Floridian. That said, they could enforce the 3-hour rule at any time, so parking beyond that is a bit of an at-your-own-risk situation. You are always allowed to park at the TTC (or any park), though this costs money if you are not an annual passholder or have some other exemption. Disney transportation will run to that lot until at least one hour after the last park closes, though it may be limited to buses in some cases. So even if you park at Animal Kingdom and it closed at 7PM, you would be able to get a bus from MK to AK up until 1 hour after MK closes, which could be as late as midnight or even later (I've done it before, but I don't recommend it because it takes forever for a bus to take you there 😂). The catch is that buses don't typically run to a park from resorts after that park is closed, so you would likely have to go to a park that is still open and then transfer to a bus to that park that is already closed. Another important consideration is when parking at Epcot, you cannot take a boat or skyliner or walk from Epcot area resorts after Epcot closes and reach the parking lot because you have to walk through the park to reach the parking lot from the International Gateway (Epcot Resort Area) entrance, which is where boats and skyliners drop you off. Depending on your specific situation, you may find it easiest to avoid using a car and plan to take a Lyft back to your hotel at the end of the evening. I agree with Craig on this one. There won't likely be a big difference between Dec 17 or 20. The biggest difference between parties tends to be the weather, but you can't predict that. Pick the date that works best for you and cross your fingers for clear skies. You'll have a great time whenever you go - it's a fun party.

I'm glad this is an option for those who have wanted it and been asking for it. My guess is that those folks will now cite the high price as a concern, but you can still save a small fortune by booking the Lightning Lanes yourself. My hope is that this will not significantly impact the availability of LLs for folks using MP or slow down the standby queues more than they have already, but we'll see. If I was to suggest an improvement to Disney, it would be to offer a single free LL to all hotel guests. Not only is it a goodwill gesture to those who miss FastPass and feel nickel-and-dimed, it would also improve people's feelings about Lightning Lanes because more people will benefit from them and some will likely enjoy the experience and purchase Multi Pass.

If your group is less than 5, I think you'll be fine starting at AK. The morning of your visit while you're on the bus to AK, try to modify your second LL to be immediately after your first (and make sure your first is right at park open). You can't overlap until midnight on the day of your visit, but you should be able to do this on the morning of your visit. Book Remy as soon as you use your first LL, then book Frozen as soon as you use the second LL. This may take some time playing the slots, but it will take a lot less time than hopping back and forth between Epcot and AK. You'll have to let us know how it goes!

Hi Liana! I'd recommend starting with Tiana, Jungle Cruise or Peter Pan's Flight as your Tier 1 (Tiana if you can get it and it is on your must-do list). I'd get one LL right at park open and I wouldn't be too picky about what it is. In a perfect world, I'd get a ride I'm really excited about, but any ride works to unlock you. For my other Tier 2, I'd try to get Haunted Mansion, because that one is the trickiest Tier 2 to grab. Hope you have a great time!

lol - I doubt the powers that be at Disney know that I exist, but if they ARE listening, I'll reiterate my suggestion that they should give all resort guests a single Lightning Lane to combat the narrative that they are nickel-and-diming with these LL offerings. It would likely even increase their sales of LL MP because once you use one, you'll want to book more.

I really like Jonny 5's answer - especially the part about Animal Kingdom. It will be less expensive to purchase LL in that park, you'd likely be able to ride everything with a LL and you could still hop over to MK after it closes if you feel like you want more park time since you have only two days and there will be stuff you can grab over there with LL, too.

Hi Jac! I really like Jonny 5's answer. The good news is that Lightning Lanes at Disneyland tend to be a lot less competitive than Disney World in Orlando. I'd say grab what you can get easily with the LL system and if you can't easily grab one of the big ticket attractions, just wait in the standby queue and use that time to "play the slots" and get a different difficult to book attraction like Jonny suggested. There are only a handful that are difficult to grab and you'll likely enjoy skipping the queues even for the ones that weren't hard to get.

You will need to book each one as its own transaction. If it is important to you that they are the same transaction, you could try calling and reserving over the phone, but even then, I don't know if they can combine them into one transaction.

If you buy early in the morning (or even better, the night before), you'll end up with better initial selections after playing the slots for a bit than the folks who set their picks 3 days early and didn't adjust them.

Do take those charts with a grain of salt. They are based on a single snapshot at a moment in time. In the course of a single minute, Disney can release a batch of Lightning Lanes and they can all be snatched up and that system would not even catch it. But they give you an idea of availability.

Hi Rachel! We just filmed a video that will answer a lot of these questions in more detail, but here are the Cliffs Notes versions: 1. I'd split the group only when you need to (some folks want to ride other things OR unable to find return times for the rides you still want after a lot of time playing the slots). Otherwise, save yourself the headache and book everything as one big group. 2. With Multi Pass, you are much better off tapping in at your first attraction as soon as humanly possible, especially at Magic Kingdom. If possible, make the Tier One the first ride of the day and book it right at park open. If that's not possible, book a Tier Two right at park open and then book another Tier One as soon as you tap in. You might also consider modifying one of your other Tier Twos into a Tier One at that time. 3. You can begin overlapping entirely at midnight on the day of your visit. You can sometimes overlap a bit in the days before, but it is finicky and unpredictable. 4. Scheduling breaks is one of the strongest parts of this new system because you can use the Modify Time feature to pick a later time rather than accepting the first available like you had to with Genie Plus. I agree with everyone here and whenever time is critical, I walk. It is theoretically sometimes faster to take the boat, but as Craig said - that's only if everything is timed exactly right which almost never happens.
