Hey Scouts! So some good friends of mine moved to Orlando during the pandemic and they’re big Disney fans as well. When Shiki-Sai first opened, they went within the first few weeks. They were given a card and were told if they come back once per season (Shiki-Sai means Festival of the Four Seasons) they would get a ‘gift’. They finally got it tonight and I thought it was pretty darn cute! Now I’m regretting canceling the reservation I had last spring lol.

So far Tiana's Bayou Adventure isn't listed on the attractions open during the Halloween Parties. Should I be concerned?? That's the only day I have to ride!

Heigh Ho Scouts! Just returned from an amazing Alaskan cruise (NCL) and just had to share what a wonderful experience it was. We had “Perfect” weather for Glacier Bay and spent hours just enjoying the majestic scenery and wildlife. Another highlight was being invited to dance with a group of Natives who entertained us with their ceremonial drumming. I nearly started crying when I found out they were going to let us wear their ceremonial robes as well (okay I did cry, but luckily part of the dance was keeping our heads down haha). It was a truly humbling experience among many I had, including having two of my college buddies who, unbeknownst to me, booked the same cruise as a surprise! A wonderful reunion on top of an emotion-filled vacation. I’m one lucky guy. 😊 What are some of your favorite non-Disney trips?

With all the new ride videos coming out for Fantasy Springs in Japan, and Rob and Erick's upcoming trip, I was wondering if y'all like to see what the ride is like before you go? Or if you prefer to ride with fresh eyes. Personally, if it's a foreign park, I'll watch. But if it's domestic, I'll try to wait.

So, I have an AP and my friend will have a one day ticket for MK which we will visit before After Hours at HS. We plan on getting G+ for MK and then get to HS at 7.. If my friend only has a one day ticket, will we be able to purchase G+ for ‘all four parks’ for him? I have a feeling the answer is no haha, but it would be nice to be able to use a LL during that time.

So I got my toes done before my trip to the Flower and Garden Festival in a few weeks. I always try to get in a nice pedicure and polish before I head to Florida (Mosty because some of my toenails aren’t terribly attractive haha). I had a festive red and white paint job when I went last December. Who else has some fun rituals before you hit the World? Also, specifically for Rob, how long does it take you to pick out the perfect set of ears for the day? 😁

Will be doing HS After Hours in a couple of weeks and wanted to see Fantasmic! that night (8:30) before the event starts (9:30). Would Tower of Terror be a good first ride after the show? Or will it be kind of mobbed to the point we would want to start at the other end of the park? It’s been a LOOOONG time since I’ve been to Fantasmic! haha. Willing to sit close to an exit so we can beat a hasty retreat as soon as it’s done. Any tips on where to sit are appreciated as well!!

Heigh Ho Scouts! Will be in Epcot in a couple of Mondays and will be taking advantage of the extended evening hours for resort guests. Luminous is a definite, so I was thinking of watching from Norway (My favorite spot to watch from anyway) and jumping in line for Frozen EA when Luminous is over. Does this sound like a good idea? Or a recipe for disaster? 🤷‍♂️

Hey Scouts! So on my solo trip last December, I was able to snag a seat at the Nomad Lounge bar and tried the Bangkok wings. I'm a big fan of Asian cuisine and just loved these. So tonight I got it in my head to try and duplicate the recipe. Nothing to go on but my memory and the menu description. I have to say, I think I nailed it! Sweet (palm sugar), sticky (honey), spicy (Birds Eye chilis), tangy (fresh lime), and packed with umami (fish sauce). Some jasmine rice and a quick pickle rounded it out perfectly. What are some of your 'must have' Disney dishes??
