The walk is about 1 mile so you can decide if that’s going to be too much for you and your party! I hope you enjoy the Floridian! It’s one of my favorites!

Heigh-Ho Anna! I agree with Jonny that RnRC probably won’t be back before your trip. I’m really hoping they give it some of the same effects as the Iron Man re-do in Paris. I recently watched a video and if they add screens/projections I think it will be amazing! I also think there’s a good chance. The closest thing I can think of that they’ve done before is changing Journey into Your Imagination to JIYI with Figment. That closed in October of 2021 and reopened in June so that would put it right about your time! They do seem to start testing new rides and makeovers in May. Probably so they will be up and running before Summer starts!

Hi Helen! I just wanted to second Jessica's suggestions. We just had lunch at BD last month and it may have been my favorite meal of the whole trip! We didn't do the Fantasmic package so I can't speak to that, but tbh I've never had a bad meal or experience there! (Also loving the fact you have an adventurous eater with you!) I also agree with your assessments of the other options haha. Let us know what you end up doing!

We are talking hundreds from what I've seen. You can go on the websites and get an idea of the costs. DVC point charts will help too!

Heigh-Ho Rebecca! Just got back from a trip and it was my first time using LLMP and park hopping. I think your strategy is pretty sound. The one ‘insider tip’ that really helped us was the two hour window (Technically and hour and 59 minutes) after the LL expires. We could overlap as much as we wanted to and didn’t feel rushed. We also didn’t necessarily hop to the park we had originally planned on. Flexibility can be key! In the future tho, I think we will stick with the one park-one day strategy, but since your hoppers are included, take full advantage!! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!

Fair warning, I’ve heard it said, once you go Deluxe you never go back lol. But you are correct; you definitely want to tack in on the end of your trip! By that time, you will be ready to enjoy some beautiful amenities!

Hi Siobahn! I have worked with DVC Rental Store and can highly recommend them! They do have sales sometimes that you should keep an eye on! And although I've never used David's personally, I've only heard good things. If you have a certain resort in mind, remember DVC members can start booking at their home resort at 11 months. Some resorts are a LOT more difficult to book than others. If you have any more questions, please let us know!

Actually, the one QS meal per day sounds like a good deal to me. I’ve never been a big fan of the dining plan as I find it to be too much food. But one QS meal a day spread out over two weeks would be used up for sure. I’m also a big fan of table service places, but not for every meal or even every day. But if the savings on meals makes up for the difference in price, I’d go moderate for sure.

I had a 1BR standard view that was above the bridge to the main tower. Could see the MK, fireworks, and all the resorts.

Got another trip planned? Nice! As far as renting DVC points, it is no different than any other resort reservation. The only difference is you will have to link your reservation to your MDE account once you get the confirmation number. As DVC members, we have to go through that step as well. You will be in a Deluxe resort so you get that benefit too. As far as booking lightning lanes, it would still follow the same rules as a regular reservation. I’ve only worked with DVC Rental Store (Highly recommended), but I’ve heard DVC Shop and David’s rentals are both good. Hope this helps!

Have you seen the renovated rooms? I think BLT is underrated in general and you can’t beat the location! I’ll be staying in the new Island Tower in June and can’t wait! Good to know I can walk back from MK if transportation is backed up. We are getting hoppers as well to take advantage of things like that. Hoping for a very Zen vacation lol.

Heigh Ho Mama! In spite of the fact I'm not an Early Entry kind of guy, I do really enjoy Extra Evening Hours. For one, it's a whole hour and not 30 minutes haha. I'm not sure how long the lines at Guardians are now that it is all standby, but one of my favorite tips is to watch Luminous from Norway or France and jump in line for Frozen or Remy as soon as the show is over. Looking forward to EEHours at MK in June!

I think that’s what I would do in this scenario. At the end of the day, I just want to get back to the hotel as easily as possible haha.
