- WDW in MayIn Disney World DiscussionApril 8, 2024We're also going in May! From what I've read it's a good time to go as it's not too busy in comparison to other times of the year. When I've been in May previously the only thing I've notice is there are often a lot of school trips as it's near the end of the school term.31
- My Experience Booking Dining ReservationsIn Disney World DiscussionSeptember 12, 2024I have had lots of luck recently getting a seat at the lounge for Space220. Just swing by early and ask them when they recommend you get in the line for walk-ups.31

- Multi-Day Trip tipsIn Disney World DiscussionJuly 13, 2024Sounds like you really are on top of things! I’m from northern Indiana and love going in January! Also I like the idea of showing the kids some videos to see what they respond to. I would recommend being flexible as far as what kinds of experiences they like. You may be surprised! Just pay attention to the ‘crabbies’ and avoid meltdowns lol. As far as the Skyliner, I see they haven’t announced the actual refurb dates yet, but it does seem to be traditionally in January. This year I see they opened up a day early as well! I think if you get at least 3 good days with the Skyliner open, it would still be worth staying there. Carribean Beach is a great place to stay! I’m sure they will have extra busses and you can still walk to the Riviera! Just don’t plan to go to MK or AK on the days it’s working. If you can and if it sounds interesting to you, I HIGHLY recommend Topolino’s Terrace for the character breakfast. The views alone are spectacular! You can sleep in and stroll on over one morning. While there’s not much of a dress code, I always like to dress a little fancier but it’s definitely not necessary.16
- Boardwalk to StudiosIn Disney World Discussion·September 22, 2024We are staying at the Boardwalk and wondered if it’s faster to take the skyliner to Studios or the Friendship boats or just plain hoof it? Specifically asking for in the mornings when trying to get to early entry.1645
- Disney-ing with little kidsIn Disney World Discussion·March 3, 2024Planning our first Disney trip with an 8 and 3 year old. Might you consider doing a video with tips for disney-ing with littles? Special experiences just for little kids? What to do if one in your party is too short for a ride (can part of your group tap in for a lightning lane while others do something else with the little and then switch?) Advice if you want to leave a park for a mid-afternoon nap and come back (ie: worth the splurge for a monorail hotel for ease of return)? Would really love your advice and thoughts on how to make the most of this experience with a “younger and shorter” family member. Thanks so much!!!1686
- Disney Dining Reservation PrioritiesIn Disney World Discussion·March 5, 2024We have our 60 day window coming up and will be staying onsite. We plan to try Ohana, Garden Grill (earliest possible), Roundup Rodeo, and several others I’m not worried about getting reservations for. Which should I prioritize first? All will be after our 2nd park day so it’ll be 63-65 days in advance which should help this time.16236
- Advice for itinerary for Magic Kingdom with Genie +/ rope drop/early entry (no rollercoasters)In Disney Genie Forum·February 4, 2024Hello! Hoping for thoughts on best plan for Magic Kingdom with early entry rope drop and genie plus but no rollercoasters. TIA 1. What to pick with 7am LL? Would Jungle cruise be wise or better to try for that at the regular rope drop? 2. What to head for with early entry rope drop? Peter Pan or better to make that 7am LL pick? 3. What to try for as second ride after EE rope drop ? Most advice I've found consists of rollercoasters but our family doesn't care for them (well maybe barnstormer lol). Appreciate you all!16410
- Crazy Idea maybe? In Ear Scouts LodgeApril 23, 2024I don’t see why you would have to check in physically since check-in usually isn’t until 4pm and the Express Pass should be working at park opening. Of course, if you’re paying for the room, I would still check in and use it as a home base during your Universal day. You certainly don’t have to spend the night if you didn’t want to. I’m not sure if Universal hotels have online check in but it’s worth “checking out” (sorry, I’m prone to bad puns). Still, I’d shoot Universal an email just to see what their check in policy is in regards to the Universal Express deal. It’s crazy that it’s cheaper to get a hotel room than it is to pay for the Express Pass outright!23
- LLMP Strategy VideosIn Lightning Lane Forum·October 14, 2024Hi Rob, First off, I want to say I’ve learned so much from your previous Genie Plus videos—thank you! We’ve been to Disney twice now, and everyone thought I was a genius for getting them on all the rides, but I gave you all the credit! Your "27 Best Tricks" video and the individual park strategy videos were especially helpful. We’re heading back in January, but I don’t feel as confident with the new system as I did with the old Genie Plus. What are the chances we could see at least one LLMP strategy video before then? Watching you work the system in real time at the park has been invaluable! Thanks again for all you do! Jacob2356
- Do dining reservations effect LL timesIn Lightning Lane Forum·March 9, 2025Hello! I saw somewhere that if you have a booked dining reservation it won’t show you lightening lanes an hour or two before or after that reservation. Is this true? Thanks! Shelby2372
