I just wanted to say thanks to Rob for helping to make our recent Disney trip so enjoyable! Without his videos, we would have been lost, hot, and miserable. Instead, we got to ride everything we wanted to! He made Genie+ seem manageable....and it was. Interestingly, the crowd calendars seemed to indicate our dates (Nov. 30 to Dec. 3) were going to be very slow. If it actually was slow, I'd hate to see busy, because the parks sure seemed PACKED. Some highlights for us included playing the Genie slots to get Ratatouille for 2:30 in the afternoon AFTER the return entries were already done for the day. Similar result for Slinky Dog Dash, although I hesitated on that one and missed it. We had a general plan, based on the videos, and they worked like a charm. Thanks, Rob!!

We're so glad that we were finally able to get our Disneyland Paris video up. There was SO MUCH footage to sift through, plus the fact that we didn't have much of any narration filmed meant that this one was a beast to piece back together into something folks would enjoy watching. 😂 I'm really happy with how it turned out. It also made me really excited to start thinking about going back. We're happy to share what we learned here from our first visit, so please post any questions you may have. Just last night on our first-ever Ear Scouts Jamboree over at Patreon,(https://www.patreon.com/EarScouts) I was saying that I didn't expect Tiana's Bayou Adventure to open until very late in the year – most likely after Thanksgiving. Then Disney surprised everyone today by adding this upcoming ride to the list of Magic Kingdom Attractions on their website. Does this mean that Tiana's adventure might be starting sooner than we all thought? They did just invite a New Orleans-based news outlet to a sneak peek,(https://www.nola.com/entertainment_life/movies_tv/sneak-peek-at-disney-worlds-nola-inspired-tiana-attraction/article_8a9f0476-b3e9-11ee-9165-77d3f91dee6b.html) and that comes on the heels of a string of Disney news sites remarking on the pace of progress on the attraction, from the updated queue to the newly-installed lanterns visible from outside the attraction just before the big drop. After delayed openings of TRON and pretty much everything new over at Epcot, maybe Disney is working overtime to shed their Flash Slothmore-esque (https://zootopia.fandom.com/wiki/Flash_Slothmore)reputation when it comes to construction projects at Walt Disney World. Let's hope an early opening for Tiana's Bayou Adventure will have us all comparing them to Fix-It Felix (https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Fix-It_Felix_Jr.)instead. When do you all think we'll get to experience our first voyage through the bayou?

Heigh Ho Scouts! Just returned from an amazing Alaskan cruise (NCL) and just had to share what a wonderful experience it was. We had “Perfect” weather for Glacier Bay and spent hours just enjoying the majestic scenery and wildlife. Another highlight was being invited to dance with a group of Natives who entertained us with their ceremonial drumming. I nearly started crying when I found out they were going to let us wear their ceremonial robes as well (okay I did cry, but luckily part of the dance was keeping our heads down haha). It was a truly humbling experience among many I had, including having two of my college buddies who, unbeknownst to me, booked the same cruise as a surprise! A wonderful reunion on top of an emotion-filled vacation. I’m one lucky guy. 😊 What are some of your favorite non-Disney trips?

So I got my toes done before my trip to the Flower and Garden Festival in a few weeks. I always try to get in a nice pedicure and polish before I head to Florida (Mosty because some of my toenails aren’t terribly attractive haha). I had a festive red and white paint job when I went last December. Who else has some fun rituals before you hit the World? Also, specifically for Rob, how long does it take you to pick out the perfect set of ears for the day? 😁

I just needed a place to express my excitement! The Flower & Garden festival is starting on February 28th 2024 🙌 Why am I so excited about this? Let me tell you! I have a trip coming up at the end of February with just me and my husband (1st time with no kids, just us!) We picked our travel dates based on a lot of factors, including work schedules, weather, crowds etc and we landed on 2/25 - 3/2. The one thing I did NOT consider at that time was the Epcot festivals, which is one of our favorite things to experience at WDW. After our plans were made and I realized my problem, I've been trying to keep some positive thoughts that it would start on 3/1 like last year and we'd at least get one day to check it out. But can I just tell you the EXCITEMENT I felt last night when scrolling the internet to discover F&G starts on 2/28 this year! I literally jumped out of my chair 🤣 So now we'll have 3 park days to experience the festival (2024 is a leap year, 29 days in Feb 🙂) We had planned on starting or hopping to Epcot most days anyway, since that is our favorite park. I haven't been to a F&G festival in YEARS. And by years, I mean way back to when it was basically only topiaries and flower displays, no food booths or entertainment (at least that I remember, I was a kid). I'm so beyond excited! I started to share this on my FB, but realized nobody is going to care (I don't have too many Disney adults in my life 🫤) so I needed to share my excitement with others who get it! If you are still reading this (don't blame you if you're not, I definitely rambled 😆) please tell me your favorite thing about F&G! I can't wait to try as many food booths as we can. I'm assuming they do some sort of scavenger hunt or food crawl, so sign me up! I'm a happy girl today ☺️
