- Need help planning your Disney World trip?In Disney World DiscussionOctober 25, 2023I have a question for everyone - i'm going with my family next week (my parents and all of us kids who are adults) and we have 2 rooms at all-star Sports. We're traveling on a budget to ensure everyone could afford to go so we'll have 4 people in each room, which means 2 of my brothers (the unlucky single ones lol) will need to share a bed, which they would rather not do. Does anyone know if the resort can provide a cott or air matress? I've heard some do this but i'm not sure about value resorts... i'm also thinking of just ordinger a cheap air matress on amazon and having it delivered there haha.14
- Park Parties for Rides Only and Late Entry - Worth It?In Disney World DiscussionAugust 8, 2024I did Jollywood Nights last year (I was down there for my December birthday as well haha) and managed to get on all the rides I wanted, plus got to see the muppets show and have some food. I think we left the party a little early too. Personally, I don’t think the cost of those tickets would make it worthwhile unless you take advantage of the early entry. I also did an After Hours at HS in March and there is a big difference in crowd levels, but either way, rides were pretty easy to get on (Mostly because a lot of people just go for the shows, characters, etc.). I’m going again in a few weeks and am almost following your plan lol. We land at 1:00 and are doing MNSSHP that night. Mostly for rides, so I’ll let you know how that goes if you’re interested! I will also add, as a solo traveler, you can get soooo much more done in an evening if you want! I also just realized I gave arguments for both sides of your question lol, but I hope it helped! 😂14
- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionJanuary 9, 2025Thanks Craig. When you take into account the park time you're spending on the meal (plus the travel expenses and resort cost when you're coming from away), an hour and a half feels like a lot. I think I'll keep some of these, but ditch others. Space 220 Lounge we'll keep, even just for a drink and a dessert, since it's an attraction in of itself. I hope I hear from someone on Tusker House and Biergarten, but from your feedback I'd better cancel Jungle Navigation and Roundup Rodeo. I really don't want to be spending 90 minutes eating / waiting for food.1
- That allusive Dining Reservation…In Disney World Discussion·February 23, 2024In a moment of excitement with a spectacular deal on the screen , I booked my family a Disney World vacation….. aka didn’t use a planner… not so smart. Although not our first trip, I have never done the 6am dining reservation release. I have been watching the last few mornings trying to see if the Space 220 reservations pop up but only saw one reservation and it was gone before I clicked on it. This is all to ask. What is the fastest way to get a specific dining reservation? Computer, App? Is there a “playing the Disney slots” refresh I’m missing at 555am?14124
- FantasmicIn Disney World Discussion·April 28, 2024Good afternoon, I am heading over to Disney during memorial day weekend. I have a park hopper and was thinking of doing hollywood studios in the morning then hopping over to Epcot. However Ive never seen Fantasmic! At what time should I realiscally plan to leave Epcot to make it to HS and have a seat for Fantasmic. Do I really have to wait in line for an hour? Thank you!1457
- Disney Vacation Last Night - What do you do?In Disney World Discussion·March 23, 2024What do you guys tend to do on the last night of a Disney vacation? Go out with a bang and stay at the parks until late, or chill out, have a good meal, and relax? My last night of a 2 week holiday from the UK will be on May 22, and I've just seen that there's a Hollywood Studios After Hours event on that night, which I'd love to go to, but think that it might be a bit much to be up until 2am or so (and then have to fly home the next day)! Maybe a relaxing meal would be a better way to end the vacation (I'm staying at a Universal Orland resort hotel for the 2 weeks, but have a 14 day Disney ticket), but the thought of Rise and Slinky without lines at 1am is pretty tempting...! What to do!1456

- After hours events vs. extended hours for deluxe resort guests. Should you plan for both? Or is having one enough if focus is rides. In Disney World Discussion·November 1, 2023Staying at Swan Reserve end of Jan 2024 so I'll have access to extended evening hours for MK and Epcot. Recently Disney announced the dates for special ticketed after hours events and I'll be there for the one in MK. I'm debating whether or not to buy this ticket. It's 2 extra hours vs. the time you get with extended hours. Don't know what to do. Never been to these events so don't know what to expect. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!14141
- First day plansIn Disney World Discussion·May 20, 2024Hello!! I feel like I’ve been working a part time job in preparation for our trip! It’s been more than 20 years since my last visit and my family has never been! I appreciate all the videos, they are incredibly helpful as is this community! We land around 10:40ish and staying at Art of Animation. Should we drop our bags, hit the pool and then plan on going to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon? And should we do Genie+ that morning in order to try to line up rides for later in the day? I appreciate any guidance you might have!1481
- Animal Kindom and Epcot in one dayIn Disney World Discussion·February 23, 2024Hi Rob, I need a bit of advice to see if we can do both Epcot and animal kingdom in the same day. We want to ride Guardians, Test track and Remi's as we never have done them before. We do not have park hopper but will grab genie plus and will use an extra day ticket for admission at second park as we decided to get a sixth day at the parks instead of the 5 day we were previously planning ( cheaper for us Canadian resident offer). If we are lucky enough to grab guardian's with a virtual queue( if not we will buy the Lightning lane) and select an afternoon time slot, can i still make my way to animal kingdom first as i believe with an early entry ticket staying at a Disney resort, we will be able to get most done at animal kingdom in the AM. Would this mess up my reservation for guardians at Epcot if i scan first into Animal Kingdom? Furthermore, I know if you buy genie plus for the day, it will be good for both parks. With my virtual queue at Epcot, will I be able to book lightning lanes in animal once i get in or if the initial booking of Guardians will block out my possible genie selections for animal kingdom? Animal Kingdom closes at 6pm so we could theoretically go to Epcot, Hop to Animal kingdom in the afternoon and then Hop back to epcot once the park closes but i am concerned that we would be wasting too much time with the buses. (Everest, Avatar and Safari on the wish list for Animal Kingdom) Looking for your expert advice knowing a day at the park always throws you a few curveballs. Bringing my Mom back to Disney for the first time since she brought me 40 years ago. A big fan and maybe we will see you in the parks that week. We are a party of 5. - Group of 8 Genie + questionIn Disney Genie Forum·March 24, 2024First THANK YOU for all of your videos! I’m a Disneyland expert but this will be our first trip to Disneyworld so I really appreciate your videos in helping me feel a little less anxious about navigating someplace new. I’ve never split up our group when trying to book LL on Genie+ before but I’m thinking I might definitely need to do that when we go in one week.. I’ve heard that LL have been completely booked out by noon with all of the spring break crowds. I’m wondering if anyone has split their group on Genie+ and been able to book LL for each group (from two phones) for about the same times?14100
- MK with girls 8,6,4,2 years oldIn Disney Genie Forum·March 8, 2024what’s the best strategy for navigating a day with 4 litttle kids using Genie+ and early entry? Do we early entry rope drop Peter Pan and book jungle cruise as first LL? And more importantly (my main question of concern) is let’s says the first Jungle Cruise LL is for 11:00 for example, do you still book it and just stand in queues during early entry and try to do rides that way till my first LL for jungle cruise at 11;00 or do you not book it because of the 11;00 return time and instead rope drop Peter Pan and use genie plus on whatever rides are available early and worry about booking jungle cruise later on after we’ve done the other rides? Essentially, do you take the 11:00 jungle cruise LL, or do you say that’s to late and instead just use it for whatever rides have the earliest return times?1469
