Heigh-Ho Rebecca! I would say the biggest question for you would be are you doing early entry? Your strategy would likely change drastically with early entry. If not, then it is a benefit to use LL for the park you are going to first. For example, in July AK opens at 730 am, so I would get the earliest LL for like Navi River (730/745 am) then as soon as you tap in get Slinky Dog in HS. You will still have two LL's in AK and can pick Rocking Rollercoaster or Mickey and Minnie Railroad when you tap in to the next attraction in AK. This leaves your last one for some LL's in AK. Most of the other rides at HS will have availability throughout the day, so by the time you leave AK you can get that last attraction (Tower of Terror - maybe). Just a thought.

I have had the same experience as Rob, there is no magic time to search. In fact, I have had better luck at odd times of the day or night. The key is to search whenever you are able to do so. Meaning, I have checked at 6am then at 2pm (the same day) and was able to secure at 2pm. I did this for one of the most difficult reservations to get, Beaches and Cream.

Mama Plans - Yes, as soon as you tap into Peter Pan, you can try for Jungle Cruise. If you get out of the Castle at 9am, I would go right by Peter Pan and rope drop Haunted Mansion, then come back and tap in to Peter Pan. It is a great chance to ride Haunted Mansion with a short line. Just remember that Jungle Cruise, from Peter Pan, is a haul for sure. Although it is worth getting it early.

Yes, everyone must swipe. But one person can secure the LL ride through Genie slots for entire group and enterance into Early Park Entry area.

This is personal preference, meaning what do you want to deal with for your easy access to parks. You do not need to buy a band for children, since Disney will offer them cards. I would only say from my experience that the cards sometimes take a moment to work when entering the parks. I prefer the bands since they usually do not have any issues entering parks or tapping in for LL rides. Hope you have an enjoyable time at Disney!

DBMom - Rob is absolutely correct. I would say to rope drop early entry go straight to Peter Pan, then across to It's a small world. By the time you ride those rides they will be dropping the rope to Haunted Mansion (if you are interested), then you can walk down to your 7am LL to Jungle Cruise. The best part is you will be able to ride Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion again using LL.

Shelby, I would suggest one other great spot (if background pictures are not as important). In front of the Hall of Presidents,, next to where you buy the giant turkey legs, you can find a spot sitting on the 1/4 brick wall. It is not usually packed and you can walk right up get a drink and sit down 10 minutes before the show. We have found it to be perfect!! Have fun.
