I just wanted to say thanks to Rob for helping to make our recent Disney trip so enjoyable! Without his videos, we would have been lost, hot, and miserable. Instead, we got to ride everything we wanted to! He made Genie+ seem manageable....and it was. Interestingly, the crowd calendars seemed to indicate our dates (Nov. 30 to Dec. 3) were going to be very slow. If it actually was slow, I'd hate to see busy, because the parks sure seemed PACKED. Some highlights for us included playing the Genie slots to get Ratatouille for 2:30 in the afternoon AFTER the return entries were already done for the day. Similar result for Slinky Dog Dash, although I hesitated on that one and missed it. We had a general plan, based on the videos, and they worked like a charm. Thanks, Rob!!

I keep finding varying opinions on this question....so I thought I would try here, too! We booked an advance dining reservation at Skipper Canteen for 6:30 p.m. on a day when the park closes at 6 p.m. I know the MVMCP starts at 7 p.m., but will our dining reservation work if we DON'T have tickets to MVMCP? Some people say yes, others say no. I even called the Disney dining phone number and the representative from Disney hedged quite a bit and didn't really answer. My thought was to head to the restaurant right at 6 p.m. instead of leaving and hang out there until our table is ready. Will they let us do that? Again, I keep hearing differing opinions. Rob seems to know so much, so I hope he can help!

I've watched the videos and feel like I am in much better shape as we get ready for our trip. But I am worried about navigating Genie+ between different ages and varying group sizes. We're super excited to be going to Disney for the first time as grandparents! Besides my wife and I, we have my son, his wife, and their three-year-old child. They also have a 1-year-old that we add to our dining reservations. My question is, how easy is it to navigate Genie+ when there will be some things we all do, and other things that only a few of us will do (bigger coasters and such)? I plan on purchasing Genie+ for the whole group each day. We may also purchase some ILL for a few of us. Thanks!
