I feel compelled to write a note of sincere gratitude to Rob and everyone on the forum! The videos, questions and responses were invaluable. We didn't have a long time to plan for our trip so I crammed my learning into about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. We stayed 6 days, 7 nights. The guidance on Genie + and Individual Lightening Lanes was so helpful. I was anxious about it but watching the videos and reading the comments really set us up for success. A family of four, we wound up investing an additional $700 in Genie + and ILL - it's a lot of money (on top of a lot of money for the trip) but it was worth it. The longest time we spent waiting on line was about 30 minutes or less. We had the joy of experiencing 48 rides and attractions in the 4 parks over 5.5 days (we took one day and spent most of it at the hotel and then popped over to Disney Springs for a bit). It was a trip of a lifetime! We're hoping to go again in about 5 years. I'm sure it will be very different from now and I look forward to experiencing the magic all over again! Happy Travels!!

Hello!! I feel like I’ve been working a part time job in preparation for our trip! It’s been more than 20 years since my last visit and my family has never been! I appreciate all the videos, they are incredibly helpful as is this community! We land around 10:40ish and staying at Art of Animation. Should we drop our bags, hit the pool and then plan on going to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon? And should we do Genie+ that morning in order to try to line up rides for later in the day? I appreciate any guidance you might have!
