Holiday Sleigh Ride at Fort Wilderness

Question for anyone who’s done the Holiday Sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness. We just booked this for our upcoming trip. The information on MDE said minors under 17+ must be accompanied by an adult 18+. After purchasing, the confirmation email says:

A government-issued photo ID is required for all Guests. Any minor without proof of age and photo ID, in an acceptable form of identification, will not be allowed to participate.

Acceptable forms of identification for minors:

• School/student ID that includes date of birth and photo on the ID

• Student ID plus a birth certificate (or copy)

• State-issued ID (does not have to be a driver's license

• Passport

Do they really require photo ID for 8 year olds? Whose name isn’t even on the reservation (you book as party of 1, and can have 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children). If so, wow…they need to provide that detail before you purchase.
