- What’s in your bag?In Disney World DiscussionMay 27, 2024I like Jessica’s list if I plan on spending the whole day in the parks. I always check the weather and decide if I throw in an umbrella or not. I also picked up a collapsible silicone water bottle which I haven’t tried yet. I slim down my wallet to just a couple of cards (I usually use Disney gift cards I purchase through Target at a 5% discount using the Target debit card). Also, remember you can get band-aids and other health related stuff for free at the First Aid stations in each park! At least you used to be able to. Hopefully they haven’t changed that rule!10
- Ride Spoilers? Or Nah?In Disney World DiscussionMay 12, 2024Hey Craig! I am one of those people who prefer to see everything with fresh eyes so if it's possible for me to avoid spoilers I will do so.10
- Overlapping virtual queIn Disney World DiscussionMay 2, 2024I’ve asked many cast members when I’ve been in this situation and they all emphatically say go to the restaurant on time and come back to the VQ later. Just explain the issue to the ride operators at the turnstiles. Also a good idea to keep your dinner receipt! The point is, Disney doesn’t lose anything by letting someone onto a ride 30 minutes later than intended; but if someone messes up dining reservations, that’s potential income the company and even some cast members could miss.10
- Tiana's Bayou AdventureIn Disney World DiscussionMay 13, 2024Woo Hoo!!10
- HopperIn Disney World DiscussionMay 4, 2024Hi Karen! So on one hand, yes you can buy a one day park hopper ticket. But if you are asking if you can upgrade one day of a 4 Day, 1 park per day ticket to a hopper, I’m afraid you can’t. Even if you’ve used 3 days and want to upgrade the fourth, you will be charged the full amount of a 4 day hopper. I’m not sure which situation you are looking for but hopefully that helps!10
- Lyft to International GatewayIn Disney World DiscussionMay 6, 2024I 100% agree with Craig - ride share to Boardwalk or Beach Club instead. International Gateway is a much more peaceful way to enter the parks, too.10
- Lyft to International GatewayIn Disney World DiscussionMay 2, 2024Thank you Craig!1
- Epcot International GatewayIn Disney World DiscussionMay 7, 2024Best way would probably be to ride share to one of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin) and walk to the Gateway. I know one of my (And Rob’s) favorite things is having breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno located in the Boardwalk and then strolling to Epcot. If I had to pick a perfect morning, it would probably be that. As far as using Disney transportation, I’m not sure what would be best, or if it’s even possible that time of day.10
- Tiana's Bayou AdventureIn Disney World DiscussionJune 5, 2024I am curious about that as well. I have a family of 5 and I am looking forward to the groups video they will be posting soon.1
- First Timer - Magic Kingdom Fireworks PartyIn Disney World DiscussionMay 12, 2024As Craig mentioned, during that month, the fireworks take place around 9:20. We have never done the Dessert Party, but it is something we are looking forward doing. As far as I know, one of the viewing areas for the dessert party is the garden lawn right next to Tomorrowland Terrace. I believe it is “first arrive, first serve” so try to make sure you check in on time so you can grab a good spot to watch the fireworks.1
- Looking to visit for the Christmas PartyIn Disney World DiscussionMay 7, 2024Make sure to make time to visit other resorts! The decorations are all so good!1
- Entering the parksIn Disney World DiscussionMay 31, 2024I used my regular MBs in March. I’m 99% sure you will be just fine!10
