- Disney Vacation Last Night - What do you do?In Disney World DiscussionMarch 24, 2024I just did this last week and went to HS After Hours the night before we came home. Our flight wasn’t until the afternoon, but we were definitely zombies on Thursday haha. It was worth it for us because it was a short trip with a newbie who wanted to see as much as possible, but if I were having a week long vacation, I would take it easy on the last night with a nice dinner and maybe some resort hopping. That being said, After Hours events are awesome! (Should also add I’m 60 and my stamina isn’t what it used to be😂)10
- Where are we going to eat!In Disney World DiscussionMarch 22, 2024Awesome. Thank you. We have eaten there in the past and loved it and then for some reason stopped going. Maybe its time to restart. Thank you.1
- Magic Band vs Magic Band Plus QuestionIn Disney World DiscussionApril 18, 2024Hi Jonny 5! The good news is that the battery life of MagicBand+ has improved dramatically - even for those of us who bought the first batch (they fixed them through software updates). In terms of new features, there hasn't been much, but it is worth noting that the new MagicBand system at Disneyland resort in Anaheim only uses the Plus version, so that is another reason to get the fancy upgrade. For me, I rarely keep mine charged up because I don't use any of the special features very often. I'll occasionally wave at a statue when my wrist vibrates or go bounty hunting when I have a guest visiting that is excited about it, bu otherwise, I just wear it with a dead battery and it behaves just like the old fashioned MagicBands. You can still get those, by the way. They are cheaper and have fewer design options, but they are still in stores. As for them popping off, I got a second one for free from DestinationD23 and never bothered to order the BitBelt for it. It feels a bit more pliable and hasn't popped off on me yet. That said, I still always wear my strap for my original one because I'd be pretty bummed to lose it and I don't trust it to stay secure without the strap. Hope that helps!10
- FantasmicIn Disney World DiscussionApril 30, 2024Hi Themis! I would say an hour is not necessary - 40 minutes should be plenty. If the park is really crowded, they will have two showings typically and the best part is that the second showing never gets CLOSE to filling up. You can enter right before the second show starts and get a great spot. Just keep in mind that the second show often starts after park close and they will not let you enter Hollywood Studios after the park closes, so get into the park before then. Hope you enjoy the show!10
- Magic Band vs Magic Band Plus QuestionIn Disney World DiscussionApril 18, 2024Hey Jonny. The MB+ doesn't have a dedicated kids' size, but just like regular MagicBands you can remove the outer portion to make it smaller. Hope that helps!1
- Advanced Dining ReservationsIn Disney World DiscussionApril 17, 2024That’s awesome! I’m sure you’ll have a Magical trip!1
- WDW in MayIn Disney World DiscussionApril 12, 2024May is a lovely time to be here for all the reasons everyone has mentioned. Not too miserably hot yet, afternoon storms don't usually last long (but often cool things off a bit), crowds are moderate but usually not as crazy as Memorial Day and later. Hope you have an amazing visit!10

- FantasmicIn Disney World DiscussionApril 28, 2024Interesting - I just Googled it. “Know Before You Go For showtimes, please check our Entertainment Schedule or the My Disney Experience app. The amphitheater curves around the lagoon, so wherever you’re seated, you’re perfectly situated to experience the action. Guests sitting in the first couple of rows may get wet during the performance. Please have your entire party together before entering the amphitheater. You may arrive as early as 90 minutes prior to each show. Be sure to arrive early to get a seat! Since this is an outdoor show, it is also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Showtimes are subject to change.”. Hopefully someone else can chime in.1
- Is it possible to see the Epcot Nighttime show from the boardwalk? In Disney World DiscussionApril 21, 2024Yes! You can absolutely see the fireworks from the Boardwalk! Bear in mind you will only see the higher up fireworks and you won’t hear any music, but you can definitely see some beautiful explosions! Lots to do and see at the Boardwalk as well. That being said, Luminous is one of my favorite shows and seeing it in its entirety is HIGHLY recommended if you haven’t seen it before. It’s just a short walk to the International Gateway and there are lots of great views all around World Showcase.10
