- Lightening Lanes for GroupsIn Disney Genie Forum·June 13, 2024If I book a LL for my group and one person does not go on the ride, therefore not checking in to it, will I still be able to book the next LL as soon as I check in or will it make me cancel the person who didnt check in to the ride first? Also, Am I able to set 2 groups on my app / account that will allow 1 person in each group to access the app /account at the same time and book separate LL's for their group? For example, Im going with my husband, son and daughter in law.. but my son and DIL will most likely go their separate ways.. Can she and I both be on the same app/account booking separate LL's for ourselves at the same time on separate phones?1893

- TIANA'S BAYOU ADVENTURE FAQ (UPDATED)In Disney World Discussion·May 14, 2024We finally have some details about Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening at Magic Kingdom, and we're guessing you might have questions. Here are the answers we know so far: Q: When can we ride it?! A: Annual Passholder previews are June 13-18 & June 20. Disney Vacation Club preview are June 12 & 19. Opening day for everyone is June 28. D23 Gold Members will be able to ride at a special ticketed event and we will update this post when we have those details. Cast Members will also likely be able to book previews soon. Q: How do we ride it? A: Once the attraction officially opens, it will be included as part of Genie Plus and will apparently use a Virtual Queue for a limited time. This is an unusual combination and it seems that the Virtual Queue component will not last as long as it usually does with other new attractions. Annual Passholder Previews will use the Virtual Queue system. You can book Virtual Boarding Groups for Tiana's Bayou Adventure and either TRON or Guardians on the same day for Passholder Previews. There are two chances for Virtual Boarding Groups - 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM. DVC members will have to register beginning May 16 and must have a qualifying resort stay using their membership, as well as park admission to Magic Kingdom for all qualifying guests who wish to ride. Q: Can I ride multiple times in a day? A: This is unclear. It seems that maybe you can book using Genie Plus AND get a Virtual Boarding Group? We'll update when we know more.25165
- Rides/Attractions Hi. I am trying to make a plan for the different parks to stay close to rides when using Genie+.In Disney World DiscussionOctober 30, 2023Hi Mary! Our "Practically Perfect Day" series is geared toward using Genie Plus without criss-crossing the park more than you need to. Those might be helpful in your planning. Here are the links to the ones we have done so far: Magic Kingdom: https://youtu.be/ySvkVrdJzZE Epcot (During a Festival): https://youtu.be/JZO8eapym38 Your question actually reminded me that we need to finish that series! Putting it on the to-do list. 😀32

- WDW in MayIn Disney World DiscussionApril 8, 2024I’ve been in May several times and it’s great! Weather is usually warm/hot and crowds aren’t as big as they are for spring break, or later in the summer.32
- What’s in your bag?In Disney World DiscussionMay 27, 2024From now on... as little as possible, haha! I took so many things the Internet said I would need and I didn't end up needing them. What I did need: -- small backpack -- ziplock bags -- hand sanitizer -- umbrella -- phone (obv!) -- backup battery pack for phone -- whatever you're having characters sign + markers -- hat -- sunscreen -- ibuprofen -- water bottle I didn't bring my whole wallet, I just had my ID and a backup credit card in case my magic band stopped working. We didn't end up using stomach meds or bandaids (thank goodness) but it was probably a good idea to have them anyway. Glasses cases, battery pack, umbrella, and pins/buttons inside a bag are what seem to set off the detector! I do want to reassure people though that at least for me, the bag search took like 30 seconds - a minute, it really wasn't a huge deal or slowed me down much. That said, I wasn't trying to to speed walk to Seven Dwarves or anything. 😅32

- Let's talk about Disneyland Paris! In Ear Scouts LodgeNovember 8, 2023Fantastic video, and really sold me on Disneyland Paris. I had forgotten how beautifully themed it was. I went the year it opened on a school trip and then a couple of years later, so was lucky to ride the original Space Mountain, which was pretty cool. Thunder Mountain was also a highlight, and I too loved Indiana Jones despite that incredibly tight loop (totally unexpected!) and one of the slowest queues I've ever been in! I'm not a massive fan of walk-through attractions, but when they're amazing as in Paris, I guess it feels like being in a Disney movie :-) The one criticism I've often heaed about Disneyland Paris is the lack of Disney atmosphere, despite the amazing theming and landscaping. I just associate Disney with the USA, and Disneyland Paris from that perspective just doesn't feel right, and people I know who have visited have told me the cast members just aren't as into Disney as they are in the US. Saying all that, your video has made me keen to go back, and being in the UK, I can drive or take the train there! Might book a trip for the Spring!32
