- Help us make our new site even better! In Welcome to Ear ScoutsOctober 25, 2023Rob and team, Just as an FYI, the website's sitemap can be found at the following address: earscouts.com/sitemap.xml and there are a few URLs listed in there that should probably be hidden/no indexed. For example, I'm able to traverse the various sample product pages that are built in by working down the sitemap tree to this product sitemap: https://www.earscouts.com/store-products-sitemap.xml. Most people won't ever get to these pages by browsing, but I figured I'd let you know because they will be indexed by Google/Bing and are technically still accessible.21
- What is your favorite Disney Resort? In Ear Scouts LodgeAugust 28, 2024We stayed at Yacht Club with a discounted group rate and it was amazing, especially the pool and location near Epcot. We are staying at Swan soon and I am a bit disappointed to not have so much theming, but we will see how it stands up.21
- Wearing eyeglasses on ridesIn Disney World DiscussionDecember 8, 2024Just wanted to follow up in case anyone had this question. I was able to wear my eyeglasses on Tron. I did however purchase a glasses strap, but don't think it would've been an issue on any of the rides at Disney. I think the holder was a bit more useful at Universal on their larger coasters.2
- Thanks Rob!In Welcome to Ear Scouts·January 18, 2024Hi Rob, just wanted to let you know you added a bunch of Ear Scouts magic to our trip this week when we saw you in Epcot. The kids were super excited to see a celebrity in the parks and you made their day that much more special! Thanks for being so gracious and taking time out of your day for a pic! See ya again real soon!2164
- Epcot strategy critique? In Lightning Lane ForumJanuary 10, 2025Ah didnt even think of modifying vs booking. Thanks for the tip!1
- How long does table service take?In Disney World DiscussionJanuary 20, 2025Tusker house is characters - so you may be there over 90 min to SEE all the characters - could you make it faster maybe - but in general we have never done less than an hour on any sit down place. Biergarten with no characters you are in control - so that might be the win for you!13
- What is your favorite Disney Resort? In Ear Scouts LodgeOctober 27, 2023We recently stayed at Beach club for the week. The location for us (couples trip) was fantastic, with the food and wine festival in progress at epcot and also a favourite park. The room was comfortable albeit with a very small bathroom. The marketplace was great for grabbing a mobile order breakfast and with a small seating area was able to take a moment before starting our day. The Ale & Compass bar was great (yacht club) but we did not have a great experience in Martha’s Vineyard and actually received a full refund. Cape May Cafe was OK as was Beaches and Cream but honestly we were a little disappointed with the on site restaurants in the Beach club side. We were able to extend our checkout time by 1.5hrs which is the maximum and take a shower in the afternoon by the pool, leaving luggage with guest service as we had a late flight and enjoyed lunch in Epcot at Space 220 to end our trip. We would stay here again but would probably eat Yacht Club side instead, but location was the winner here.13
- Solo….In Disney World DiscussionNovember 16, 2023Although I live here, which is a bit different, I do end up in the parks by myself a good bit and my best advice would be to make sure you get a park hopper ticket. One of the joys of being solo is the ability to be impulsive and do whatever the heck you want. In Hollywood Studios but suddenly craving a snack from Epcot? Just hop on the Skyliner and you're there. With Disney transportation between all the parks and resorts, it can be a lot of fun to just be spontaneous and hop around Disney World to your heart's content.13

- Lyft to International GatewayIn Disney World DiscussionMay 2, 2024Thank you, was just asking for an in general knowledge. We are going in November 2024 but weren’t sure how to get there. Last time we went we used Uber but did not know the tips and tricks so our thought process of it being easier really did not make things easier. For example we used Uber to MK and ended up at the transportation area!!!! :)1
- Table Service recs!In Disney World DiscussionOctober 26, 2023I was at the Yacht club with my adult daughters - we enjoyed riding the Skyliner to Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera. I wanted to get Space 220 Lounge but never could snag a reservation. The Nomad Lounge at AK was great. Also the bar at Ale & Compass.13
