- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 12, 2024@Kiran, thanks for the times. I'll be on the lookout.10
- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 12, 2024@Craig Culp we are rope dropping but are not staying on Property Unfortunately. That's why I leaned on getting the Star Tours 10 Min after opening and then we'll head Mickey/Rockin Roller Coaster way20
- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 11, 2024Hi Jason! For what it’s worth, that’s what I would do depending on how many Tier 1 attractions I’d want to get to. Are you planning on rope dropping? You can usually knock out at least one Tier 1 that isn’t Slinky Dog Dash lol.10
- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 11, 2024Craig thanks so much. Good News is I already got Slinky Dog up to a 12:25.20
- 12-18-24 HS LL QuestionIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 11, 2024Speaking from data analysis and not experience, it seems like you should keep Toy Story Mania. It is far more likely to sell out before the day than the anything you don't already have. The only other Lightning Lanes that can sell out early in the day are Mickie & Minnie's and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. It's very likely you'll be able to book Mickey & Minnie's and Rock n' Roller Coaster when you tap into Tower of Terror and Slinky Dog Dash respectively. Depending on how busy the day is those may not be until later in the day though. Looking at today's data, you would have had return times before 4pm, but Monday they would have been 5pm. Assuming you want to do both of those rides. I'd rope drop Mickie & Minnie's and then book Rock n' Roller Coaster when you tap into Tower of Terror. It's very probable you'd be done the major rides by 4pm with lots of time between your LLs to do short standbys and shows. Once you tap into Slinky at 12:25 you'll be able to book additional LLs with quick return times. Again, take my advice with a grain of salt because I'm just basing this off of what I see on thrill-data.com and not from actually doing it.10
- Hollywood Studios LLIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 12, 2024If Toy Story Mania is on your must-do list then I think you should prioritize it as one of your 3 initial bookings. It seems to sell out before anything besides slinky. For early entry I think it should be Rise of the Resistance if you're not planning on buying a single pass, or Mickey & Minnie's if you are.10
- Hollywood Studios LLIn Lightning Lane ForumDecember 12, 2024Aim for Rise at early entry, although quite often it is down. Most of the time when it's down they'll tell you at the gate, if it is and you're close to the front I'd go for Slinky Dog as they often open it earlier than the other rides. When we went, early entry started officially at 8:30am and we were actually off Slinky by 8:20 and made it down Sunset Boulevard for Tower of Terror opening :) Since you're a hotel guest and able to book 7 days in advance you'll probably be able to get what you need. For lightning lane I'd go for Slinky and then one of Tower of Terror or Toy Story Mania, those are both tier 2 attractions and are by far the most popular of the tier 2s. You could book both as your tier 2s but I've seen a lot of recommendations saying to book Star Tours at park opening as your "unlock ride". Then that will allow you to start changing things around and getting the Tier 1s in.10
- LLMP unlocked if first booked ride goes down?In Lightning Lane ForumDecember 31, 2024Thanks for the info! I knew someone would have an answer!0
- When to buy LL at busy times (holidays)In Lightning Lane ForumDecember 23, 2024It all depends on your budget and how bothered you are about waiting in line for things. Multi-pass allows you to not have to rush as much, Rob actually did a really good video at Animal Kingdom using it and saying why it's such a good park to use it.10
- When to buy LL at busy times (holidays)In Lightning Lane ForumDecember 23, 2024Thanks for your help. My confusion is with Rob’s advice. I have seen the latest video but I have also seen other videos where he says the only two parks you really need it are MK and HS. This will be our first time visiting, we will be going during a VERY busy period so should I but for all parks (as will be buying in advance and following Rob’s amazing guidance) or just those two? AK especially doesn’t have many rides and if we can get there early for rope drop can we do it without? I know it’s like reading a crystal ball and that LL doesn’t guarantee much but any advice appreciated.20
- Overlapping Pre-Booked Lightning LanesIn Lightning Lane ForumJanuary 8, 2025Oh yeah, dining reservations!. Thanks for the reminder, I had better make sure I've cancelled all my backup times before I book my lightning lanes. I think this early multi pass ear scouts video is the most useful I've found: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o9ElUCzkivM&pp=ygUXb3ZlcmxhcCBsaWdodG5pbmcgbGFuZXM%3D In it, Rob shows a 20 minute overlap while modifying his initial selections and mentions that after purchasing it becomes much more difficult to overlap, but that on your park day you can overlap as much as you want. But I'm not sure if he meant after midnight or after you've tapped in to your first ll.0
- When to buy LL at busy times (holidays)In Lightning Lane ForumJanuary 6, 2025If your budget allows then go for it at AK and Epcot, you can get away with not having it but given you're going at a very busy time you may be in for some long waits if you don't.10
