- Park hopping AK to EpcotIn Disney Genie ForumJune 8, 2024You can book your next LL if: • 2 hours have passed after park opening or after you scan on your first reservation (whatever happens first) • You have used your current/most recent LL you booked regardless the 2-hour timeframe. • The attraction breaks down and you get a “Bonus LL” (Redemption LL”)0
- We did it! Thanks to you all!!In Disney Genie ForumJune 8, 2024We are really happy to read that our videos helped you to have a great experience in the parks! Thank you for taking the time to write this note, it means a lot to us.00
- Park hopping AK to EpcotIn Disney Genie ForumJune 8, 2024First thing I would to is to establish my most ride attractions in AK, some of the things I would recommend you not to miss are: • Flight of Passage (this one can take a little while to ride it but if you are doing Early Entry this would be a good option to start with) • Festival of the Lion King (there are specific times for this show and you can always check it on the app and I don’t think it is necessary to make a reservation with DG+) • Expedition Everest (you can use the Single Rider Line) • Kilimanjaro Safaris • Na’vi River Journey (this would be my first booked attraction with DG+) I would focus on stack the attractions for EPCOT for Remy, Frozen and Test Track (if this one is still open when you visit) since later in the day, those attractions become harder to book.10
- Does availability ever return for "sold out" Genie+ rides? In Disney Genie ForumJanuary 3, 2024Hello! Sorry for the late response. Lightning Lanes definitely do pop back up frequently. It takes patience, though. The only times I would say it may not be worth it to try for a LL that is not available is when that ride is currently down for a closure that has lasted more than an hour or so or when it is very late in the day (last hour or so of park time). They will turn off all the LL about 30 miniutes before park close typically.10
- HUGE Shout Out to the Ear Scouts Team!In Disney Genie ForumDecember 10, 2023I agree! Rob's videos are extremely helpful! I've noticed in the last few years that crowd calendars don't really mean a whole lot anymore. Disney has gotten very good at filling the slower times with special events and such, to keep the guests rolling in! Also, a lot of guests try to find that "sweet spot" of a slower time, which makes the less crowded times a little more crowded! I try to avoid holidays, school vacations etc, but go in with the mind frame that it's going to be packed! And if it's not, then great! Earlier this year, we went in February, the week of Presidents Day, which also included a RunDisney event, school vacation and Mardi Gras week. I knew it was going to be bad, but that was the only time we could go, so we just rolled with it! My kids to this day, claim it "wasn't that bad" but I disagree lol! It was the first time that Genie + sold out in WDW, so I'd say that's pretty darn packed 😂 We still had a magical time though!30

- Genie +/ILL suggestionsIn Disney Genie ForumJanuary 3, 2024Hi Carrie! I second the advice of Connie. I would add that it might be a good idea to use early entry to knock out Tower of Terror and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (I think Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will be closed for refurbishment at that point). If you book Slinky Dog as your first LL right at 7am, the only big ticket you'd have left in Hollywood Studios would be Smugglers Run and you should have no trouble booking that LL as soon as you tap in at Slinky. From there, just focus on booking for Magic Kingdom attractions. Hope you have an amazing trip!20
- Genie +/ILL suggestionsIn Disney Genie ForumJanuary 3, 2024I'd say if you only have one day - spring for both Genie + and get an individual for Tron and Star Wars, that way you can ride all the popular attractions.20
- What’s the best strategy for success in Disney World with MINIMUM Genie+ and individual LL? On a busy runDisney weekend. In Disney Genie ForumDecember 15, 2023ohh I hadnt considered rope droping MK, just because its such an ordeal, but considering, its a saturday, it might do well to have a head start and then leave in the afternoon, especially the day before the race! Thank you!0
- Fast Pass ReservationsIn Disney Genie ForumDecember 20, 2023Hi Jonny! To be honest, I am not a huge fan either, but a LOT of people loved the old system. It definitely favors those who stay on property and remember to wake up at the crack of dawn to book all their Lightning Lanes as soon as they are able. They are able to get great (early) return times for the toughest rides and have no stress starting their days when they are on actual vacation. For me, I like the fact that everyone gets a shot at 7am, no matter where they are staying and are free to make decisions the morning of their visit. In most cases, I don't even know what day I'll be going to a specific WDW park that far out, let alone which attractions I would want to book.20
- What’s the best strategy for success in Disney World with MINIMUM Genie+ and individual LL? On a busy runDisney weekend. In Disney Genie ForumDecember 13, 2023I think your plan seems very do-able, but I would note that Animal Kingdom often closes very early (typically around 7pm) so you may want to hop over early. That may limit your ability spend much time in World Showcase. We did a video where we started in AK and hopped to Epcot, but then you wouldn't be able to get the VQ for Guardians. You should be able to catch Mine Train with a wait of around an hour wait. You'll need a VQ for TRON and even then it can be close to an hour depending on how things are running that day.30
