My only worry was that it might be a bit demoralizing for the cast member who was stationed at the lightning lane entrance because I get the impression that Pixar is used a lot for this purpose. He didn't seem to mind though.10

Generally cast members always try to be helpful and friendly so I can't see them giving you a hard time about it, they'll know that's just how the system works and I bet you won't be the first or last people to do it either.10

But he still walked the queue and then used the “chicken exit” I would just tell the cast member when you get there. However in general this seems like a waste - there are so many good options hopefully you can find one you want to ride.10
