Definitely at MGM.. heading to Galxies Edge and starting the day there fleeing the Empire and flying in the Falcon really sets the feel and pace for the day.

Another great video offering a different perspective that definitely is worth trying. We typically will do as you mentioned from the start, skipping the park. But considering that most others will do the same, tactics will be changing.

Value - Art of Animation Though we have never stayed there, the resort has the best theming amongst the group. When they first opened, the food court was better than any other counter service on-property. To the point of rivaling the once famous Coronado Springs food court. I would go as far as to say that it was even better than many table service venues. Moderate / Moderate-Deluxe - Coronado Springs Pre-convention center monstrosity being built. There may be some nostalgia since this was the first on-property resort we stayed at, which really was the catalyst to never staying off-property again, and becoming Dinsey-fanatics. The resort is one that though is amazingly immersive in the Central American look and feel, most Disney themeing around the resort is subdued. Deluxe / DVC This is a bit of a toss-up depeding on the time of year, and event (e.g., MNSSHP, Wine and Food, (and beer!), Flower and Garden (and wine and beer), etc.) that we are planning to attend. Wildnerness Lodge & Villas will always be the top contender and primary choice. We typically will do a split-stay and WLV is almost always part of the stay. The one time it wasn't, we all felt the trip Home was missing some of its usual dose of Pixie dust. From the moment one turns onto Timberline drive, walk under the main car-port, through the doors, and experience the grandure of the lodge.. how can one not be amazed and believe you are in the great North-West territories. Beach Club Villas is a must during events at World Showcase, the pool, and its proximity to MGM and EPCOT / World Showcase. The addition of the Skyliner makes it super easy to resort hop.. Maybe a Skyliner Bar Crawl, similar to the Monorail Bar Crawl, is in order? 🤔 😎 Since the Polynesian Resort & Villas became part of the DVC family in 2015, this resort quickly became another main contender, overtaking Animal Kingdom Villas. From the Monorail, Tonga Toast, Tambu Lounge, Trader Sam's Deck, the resort's themeing and layout is just wonderful. Now that the walking path is open, taking a stroll to the Magic Kingdom gates is quite enjoyable.
